Agreement and eligibility
By using Crosbyte you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter a contract, provide accurate information and use the platform only for lawful purposes. Stop using the services if you do not agree.
Crosbyte’s marketplace role
Crosbyte helps customers discover and contact independent workers. Unless expressly stated, Crosbyte is not the employer, agent or service provider and does not control the final service scope, price, timing, quality or outcome agreed between users.
Accounts and security
Keep account details accurate and credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must report suspected unauthorized access. Crosbyte may require mobile verification and may restrict duplicate, fraudulent or unsafe accounts.
Identity-verified workers
Workers must provide truthful profile and verification information and maintain required licences. Verification badges reflect checks completed at a point in time, are not guarantees of future conduct or service quality, and may be suspended or removed.
Customer enquiries and service arrangements
A customer must give purpose-specific consent before contact details are shared. Customers and workers independently agree service scope, timing, access, safety and payment terms. Users should communicate clearly, protect property and personal safety, and keep relevant records.
Recharge plans
Each paid recharge starts after confirmed payment and has its own call balance and expiry. Your first confirmed call to a worker consumes one call from an eligible recharge; repeat calls to that worker do not. Unused calls expire and cannot be transferred or carried forward.
Payments, refunds and taxes
Payments may be processed through PhonePe or another approved payment provider. PhonePe is an independent third-party payment processor; Crosbyte is not PhonePe and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of PhonePe. Users must provide valid payment information and applicable taxes. Crosbyte does not store UPI PINs, card PINs or complete payment credentials. Verification fees are non-refundable once verification processing has begun, except where a refund is required by applicable law or the payment fails without the service being initiated. Recharge cancellation and refund eligibility follow the terms shown before purchase and applicable law. Contact us with the order ID for payment or refund support.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Paid recharge purchases cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable, including unused, partially used or expired call balances, except where a refund is required by applicable law. You may exit checkout before completing payment. For a duplicate debit, a payment error or a paid recharge that has not been activated, contact support@crosbyte.com with your order ID and payment details so we can investigate. Do not share your UPI PIN, card PIN or full card details.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval. To request a payment investigation, email support@crosbyte.com with your registered mobile number, Order ID, transaction ID, payment date, amount and issue. Never share your OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or banking password.
Shipping & Digital Delivery Policy
Crosbyte provides digital platform access and does not ship physical goods; physical returns are not applicable. Recharge access and the call balance are activated in your account after successful payment confirmation. Check your payment history for the payment status and contact support@crosbyte.com with your order ID if access is not activated. The timing and delivery of work performed by an independent worker are agreed directly between the customer and that worker.
Acceptable use and reviews
Do not misuse the platform, impersonate others, submit false or unlawful content, harass users, bypass security, scrape data, manipulate reviews or infringe rights. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and may be moderated when unlawful, abusive or misleading.
Suspension and account closure
You may request account closure. Crosbyte may suspend or close access for breaches, fraud, safety risks, legal requirements or platform protection. Certain transaction, consent, security and dispute records may remain as legally necessary.
Disclaimers and responsibility
Crosbyte works to provide reliable discovery and verification features but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, every worker’s conduct, or a service outcome. Users remain responsible for their decisions. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Complaints, changes and governing law
Raise complaints through Contact Us or support and include your registered email, order ID and relevant details. We will acknowledge and review complaints within a reasonable time. We may update these Terms when our services, providers or legal obligations change and will communicate material changes. These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction of courts where Crosbyte is legally registered.
